SUBMISSION
The 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Research and Development (ICSRD-26) took place virtually on October 7–8, 2026, organized by LPPM Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta and Research Synergy Foundation. Under the theme “Innovating Across Disciplines for a Sustainable, Inclusive, and Resilient World,” the conference brought together researchers in economics, business and management, social sciences, international relations, and public policy.
Sustainable development is rarely shaped within a single field. Access to financial services determines whether a household or small enterprise can withstand economic shocks, the digital platforms where people shop and invest influence their decisions, and the ways regions and states coordinate across borders determine who benefits from cooperation. The papers in this volume examine these connections, from financial and digital inclusion among households and MSMEs to consumer and investor behavior on digital platforms, to the cultural identity and well-being of Generation Z, and to the diplomatic channels through which ASEAN members, subnational governments, and cultural institutions engage beyond national borders.
What distinguishes this volume is its focus on digital transformation and cultural identity as drivers of inclusive development. Rather than treating these as separate concerns, the conference and its papers consider how technology, cultural heritage, and international engagement jointly shape economic and social outcomes.
The proceedings record this research and make it available to the wider scientific community. Further information about the conference is available at https://icsrd-upnyk.com/.
